I'm delighted to tell you that tickets are now on sale for my Ghost Story Writing
Course. Monday evenings, 7pm, from 5 July - 10 August.
Tickets for the whole course are just £30 per

The
workshops will be LIVE and interactive and I'll be live-streaming
into your homes from mine every Monday. If you can't make a
session - don't worry! The videos will be left online for you to
catch up when you like.
Ever wanted to try your hand at writing ghost stories? Do you
want the opportunity to improve your creative writing skills?
Then, this course is for you. Over a course of six weekly
workshops we'll look at atmosphere, creating characters, horror
vs. terror, structure and, perhaps the most important question: what makes a ghost
story scary?
Through a series of fun and productive exercises, you'll soon be
penning your own terrifying tales in the style of authors like
M.R. James, Susan Hill and Charles Dickens. There'll be a whole
community of other workshop participants to support you and
opportunities to share your work if you want to.
Beginners are very
welcome - you don't need to ever have written anything before.
Equally, experienced writers looking to explore a new genre will
love this course of workshops. The course will be run
largely on Facebook - so you'll need to be on FB to
participate.
