Hello New York,
Save green by going green! Turns out New Yorkers are doing their part by utilizing solar power to minimize carbon footprints and electricity bills. 🔋
We’re a tight-knit city of eight million and we share our cultures through cuisine. No better way to understand the fabric of New York’s melting pot than eating your way through it. Check out Tour de Gastro’s eat-around-the-world scavenger hunt. 🌍🍴
The MTA’s poor service is affecting more than we thought. Subway lines have a say so in relationship success says a new study suggesting transit is a serious factor in the relationships we choose. 🚧💘
Dive into a new culture or sip a new brew this weekend. There is no shortage of cool stuff to immerse yourself within our Welcoming Weekend Guide. 🍻🎉

Weekend Guide
Time to grab your wallet and get out the door! This weekend is enriched with culture and so many ways to celebrate it. Those interested in experiencing unity can head down to an art exhibition for the Harlem Renaissance or another venue for PhilipinX art.
There are also food festivals to enjoy that are specializing in comforting food bites or brewery samples. Treat yourself to a cold beer, immersive art or a beachside firework show because you deserve it!
World Food Flavors
There are small and large neighborhoods across the city serving as preserves for culture. Despite distance, migration, generations and a change of scenery; many have used food to keep their heritage close.
By celebrating the strong diversity in cuisines, foodies can eat their way through different regions of the world just by biting into authentic dishes right in the city. Try out this flavor scavenger hunt as it leads you around the globe with food!
Reduce Your Bills
Most people think going green will cost them but that misconception has since been challenged again and again. By using technological advances, some green changes can reduce long terms costs for both our pockets and the planet.
There has been an increase in the commitment to consciousness living in homes through solar panels. Aside from minimizing their carbon footprint during crucial times of climate change, these families are saving a pretty penny on electric bills.
Transit
Why ask for a palm reading when the only lines that matter are that of the subway? According to the numbers, today's society is very concerned with accessibility.
The trains and buses between you and your prospective friend or lover could be a deal breaker says to a study from the National Bureau of Economic Research investigating how location affects socializing in NYC.
