This summer we have the very best in music gigs and concerts lined up for you. From international folk and country artists, rock bands to tribute acts and orchestras and choirs - we have got it all coming up this summer. Here are just a few of our highlights. View full music event listings Tunng Electronic folk Friday 26 July, 7.30pm Tunng are hitting the Square Chapel stage for one night only bringing their folktronica sound to Halifax. This is their first tour in four years. Listen here. Price: £17.50 Book now Shonen Knife - Alive! Pop punk Saturday 27 July, 7.30pm Shonen Knife are a Japanese pop punk band formed in Osaka. Heavily influenced by 1960s girl groups, pop bands, The Beach Boys, and early punk rock bands, such as the Ramones. This is not one to miss. Price: £10 Book now Mama's Broke Traditional folk Sunday 28 July, 7.30pm The beautiful sounds of Mama's Broke are heavily influenced by their Canadian roots, performing with heart and raw energy.
