January 21st 2018 for
lovers of all things crime. Whether you're a
writer, reader - or just someone who's fascinated
with true crime - this interactive event will be right up
your street.
- Under
the guidance of our experts, experience what it's like to be a
CSI. Join a team of investigators, interview witnesses,
photograph crime scenes and sift through evidence to solve the
crime of the day.
- Interrogate
our forensic scientist - get your facts right, ask any
technical questions you may have including techniques,
protocols, scientific facts and new advancements.
- Meet
with an ex-offender. A mother of three recounts her
experiences at the hands of law enforcement and at Her
Majesty’s Pleasure. A sequence of unfortunate events saw her
make a decision she will understandably regret for the
rest of her life. She will provide an emotional insight into
her crime, and give you an idea of what it’s really like to
‘do time’.
- Quiz
our forensic linguist. Having helped and advised several
authors on plots and story lines to the level of succesfully
publishing, ask any questions you like.
- If you
want to be even more 'hands-on', we'll also have
Boris (our blood spatter ‘head’). If you've visited us
before, you will have seen the after-effects of an attack
on him in our blood spatter room. On this occasion, you
will be able to witness a reconstruction for yourself. Here's
someone on a previous event. Perhaps she took offence at
something Boris said...?!
