The 12th annual Short Story Challenge, early entry TODAY

The challenge kicks off on 26 January, but you can submit early entries today.  Full details below:

Up Next:  The Short Story Challenge 2018 The Short Story Challenge 2018 Early Entry Deadline is TODAY!     Learn More, Register, and Read Winning Stories The 12th annual Short Story Challenge kicks off on January 26th, 2018 and the early entry deadline is today, December 14th!  The competition contains 3 rounds of writing.  In the 1st Round, writers are placed randomly in heats and are assigned a genre, subject, and character assignment.  Writers have 8 days to write an original story no longer than 2,500 words.  The judges choose a top 5 in each heat to advance to the 2nd Round where writers receive new assignments, only this time they have just 3 days to write a 2,000 word short story.  Judges choose finalists from the 2nd Round to advance to the 3rd and final round of the competition where writers are challenged to write a 1,500 word story in just 24 hours.  Feedback is included on every submission and there are thousands in cash and prizes.  Sound like fun?  Join the competition below and get ready for January 26th.  Register soon though, the entry fee goes up after Thursday and space is limited.  Good luck writers!       Learn More & Register for the Competition     Follow NYC Midnight   Facebook Twitter Instagram Copyright © 2017 NYC Midnight, LLC, All rights reserved.
