Dewsbury has been
chosen as one of the country's latest Heritage Action Zones. The scheme
updates run down and neglected buildings, bringing them back into use as
housing community or shopping spaces.
New Street
Christmas market
The New Street
Christmas market is on in Huddersfield this weekend. There will be over 60
stalls to shop, fantastic entertainment from the Jelly Roll Jazz Band and a
hog roast with a Prosecco bar and mulled wine. Wrap up warm and come join
the festivities.
Marshals to help
keep night-time visitors safe this Christmas
Marshals will be
working in Huddersfield town between 11pm and 5am on Friday and Saturday
nights in December. This is part of our ongoing work to make sure everyone
can feel safer on a night out in Huddersfield.
