We welcome acclaimed medieval historian and
author Ian Mortimer to Alnwick Castle this summer for two very
special book talks!
As part of a week full of medieval activities, Ian will give a talk
based on his entertaining and illuminating book The Time Traveller's Guide to Medieval England.
You will hear an A to Z of interesting things that any visitor to
the 14th century needs to know! This event starts at 4pm.
In the evening Ian Mortimer will speak about his latest
book Medieval Horizons: Why the Middle
Ages Matter. This event starts at 7:30pm.
