Dear
Reader,
|
Breathing. It’s so simple and we all do it. But few
of us use the power of it for healing, relaxation and cell
regeneration – and therefore a longer, healthier life. Normal
breathing uses far less than our full lung capacity. Ten minutes
of deep belly breathing, when you close your eyes and fill your
belly, chest and back imagining your breath rising up through the
top of your head, then slowly let it out again till your belly is
empty, can increase that five-fold. It’s such a no-nonsense hack
– and given that our brains are dealing with around 60,000
thoughts a day, which since the arrival of our favourite friend,
the smartphone, has risen to many thousands more, it’s needed
more than ever to calm our over-frazzled minds.

Have a great week.

How
Paris Cleaned Up The Seine
|
With the Olympics round the corner, the City of
Lights has been on full clean-up mode – especially in its river,
which hitherto had been so filthy that swimming was banned. Find out how they
achieved it here.

If
Only In Life We Were More Like Leopards…
|
What do we mean? Well, imagine starting your day like a big cat
from a place of observation rather than with a harsh alarm and a
swipe of the phone. Clocking your surroundings, listening, tuning in…
sounds wild to us.

Living Next Door To Clarkson?
|
We’re pondering why the house next door to
Diddly Squat is on the market.
Could it be the influx of fans/shoppers and the traffic they bring
who want to drink Jeremy’s Hawksdown brew and chomp on his burgers?
Maybe. The house looks exquisite just the same, so if you’re a fan…
