writers in The Writers' Space
Our 12-month online
programme led by Amelia Loulli offers writers at all stages the chance to
network with peers, improve their craft through guided workshops and
seminars, and meet industry experts. £50+booking fee for the full year
beginning in September.

🎤 Meet authors in Newcastle
This September, we'll be
joined by the bestselling Bella Mackie to talk
about her sharp and twisted new murder mystery; crime authors Louise Doughty and Charlotte Vassell
for a Faber
Fiction event; and First Nations Australia writers Graham Akhurst and Yvette Henry Holt with
British poet Linda
France for an evening
of climate poetry.

Northern Writers' Awards
The Hachette Children's
Novel Awards open from 22 October to debut writers of children's and early
teen fiction, and our flagship Northern Writers' Awards, including prizes
for both published and unpublished writers of fiction, non-fiction and
poetry, open from 26 November. Book onto our free
online Launch Roadshow to hear advice on applying from writers
and industry professionals.
