The British Book Awards celebrates all that goes into the creation of
a book, from the words forming in the author's mind to the finished
product landing in the reader's hands (or headphones!). With that in
mind we are delighted to introduce the NIBBIES SALON: a new series
featuring Nibbies-winning authors alongside members of their
publishing teams. These events will give audiences a glimpse into
everything from the editorial process to the author-agent
relationship to the magic worked by the marketers and publicists who
bring these titles to market.

Our winner in the Non-Fiction:
Narrative category joins us to discuss his book Empireland and
how Olivia
Mead
and Annie
Moore
from his marketing and publicity team helped this timely and

CLARE CHAMBERS
8th November
|
Clare Chambers took
home our Pageturner award on Nibbies night, and joins us in
November alongside her publicist Virginia Woolstencroft,
her agent Judith
Murray
and Orion's Waterstones account manager Esther Waters to
discuss all that went into last year's word-of-mouth hit, Small Pleasures. Chaired
by Alice O'Keeffe, books editor, The Bookseller.
