Huddersfield Town Hall.

Orchestra will be joined by Alice Coote (Orfeo), Fflur Wyn (Euridice)
and Daisy

Gluck's
score was pioneering for its time – and is still heartbreakingly
beautiful. It features some of his best-known pieces, including
Orfeo's cry for his lost love ‘Che farò senza Euridice’,
sung here by Irish mezzo Paula Murrihy.
