Boy, the news just keeps on rolling, with the first two weeks of
2022 having landed some killer blows for men and women in power. Across the
pond, two women await sentencing after high-profile cases – Ghislaine
Maxwell for sex trafficking and Elizabeth Holmes for fraud, while here our
own PM ‘fesses up to illegal lockdown partying and Prince Andrew’s in the
hottest water of his life after a judge rules not to dismiss Virginia
Guiffre’s civil sex abuse case against him. I hope real justice is served
to whoever deserves it; whatever happens these stories will keep on airing
in the form of biopics, podcasts, op-eds, movies and TV miniseries. Truth
is stranger than fiction.
Have a great week.

REGENUARY
Are plant-based foods screaming at you from the aisles? As we are urged to
curb our carnivorous appetites and up our plant intake, there is a caveat:
food, wherever it comes from and however it’s farmed, can have a
deleterious effect on our soil, so wherever you can, source food that’s
farmed regeneratively and join the regenuary
movement – it’s so much cooler than Veganuary.

A BIG TIME
SHOW
Today, I’m at Cirque du Soleil
and I’ve already got in quick to book tickets for My Fair Lady
and Jerusalem,
for which the insanely talented Mark Rylance and Mackenzie Crook reprise
their roles 10 years after its first sensational run. Theatre is back
(hooray) and here
are the big hitters to book now.
