HARROGATE LITERATURE FESTIVAL
Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival | 18 – 21 October 2018
The Raworths Harrogate
Literature Festival, picked by Harper’s
Bazaar as one of the UK’s Best Literary Festivals, has become the hot ticket on the national Festival circuit
thanks to its stellar line-up of literary names in beautifully intimate
settings. Hosted over a long weekend and now in its eighth year, the Festival
celebrates great writing by bringing best-selling authors, influential
politicians, comedians and stars of the stage to share their stories with a
programme designed to entertain and inspire. This year’s line-up features John Simpson, Dr Jane Hawking and Gill Sims (of Peter and Jane fame), alongside Nick Hewer, David Starkey, Isabel Hardman, Henry
Cole, Julie Summers, Robin Ince, Conn Iggulden and many more. Don’t miss a Yorkshire Post Literary Lunch to
remember as Alan Johnson shares the soundtrack to his life, as well as a sparkling
evening celebrating wine with the greatest taster of his – or any -
generation, Oz Clarke. There will also be a
special recording of the BBC Radio 4 Round
Britain Quiz.
