The Easy Way Out

THE STUDIO

Eli Yim, a young adult in a mental health crisis, goes to A&E in a last-ditch attempt to get help.

The Easy Way Out combines theatre, live music, and stand up comedy to both entertain and expose the uncomfortable reality of UK mental health services.

Head Over Heels

THE STUDIO

Head Over Heels is a raucous and heart-breaking contemporary comedy that addresses the growing social phenomenon known as ‘Silver Splitters’, Britain’s hottest new demographic, retired divorcees!

Gail Young’s hilarious comedy-drama follows Jill and Andy as they navigate their way through the minefield of emotions produced by thirty-odd years of so-called wedded bliss ending in divorce. 

Head Over Heels is a community production presented by LYM Productions.

Fun Kids Science Quest Live!

Fun Kids radio presenter Dan Simpson brings the weirdest and coolest stuff in science to the stage, making it more fun than it's ever been in any classroom!

With hilarious experiments, exciting guests and games, Dan takes young audiences on a one hour journey into how the world works - and beyond!

Made in Dagenham

MAIN AUDITORIUM

Inspired by a true story and based on the hit movie, Made in Dagenham is the uplifting British musical comedy about friendship, love and the importance of fighting for what is right.

Funny, touching and timeless, Made in Dagenham shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.

This production includes a community cast professionally presented by Patrick Productions.

Rugby legend Sir Kev steps into new super-sized panto role!

Last month, we announced that Sir Kevin Sinfield is The Voice of The Giant in the Carriageworks Theatre Pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

He said "I can’t wait for audiences to come along, boo The Giant and enjoy what will undoubtedly be a fantastic show.”

In keeping with his selfless fundraising, Sir Kevin has also donated his panto fee to MND charities.

Light Night Leeds Returns!

For the first time ever, the festival will take place during half term, on 28 and 29 October.

With the clocks having gone back the previous weekend the spectacular large-scale projections and immersive artworks will begin at 6pm finishing at 9.30pm
