Finally spring has sprung and what could be better on a sunny day than Trinidad born Dudley Nesbitt, one of the great steelpan pioneers, playing with Richard Ormrod on drums and joined by the Jazzleeds house band. Seven Bar. PWYF.Tomorrow, Thursday 20th March 7.30pm, celebrating Irish History Month Screen Seven – That They May Face The Rising Sun. Capturing a year in the life of a rural, lakeside community in Ireland in the 1970’s, the movie is an adaptation of the final novel from John McGahern, one of Ireland’s greatest novelists. Seven Venue. £7. On Friday 21st March 7.30pm, Living For Beginners is a poignant and powerful play explorating identity, self-determination, and the terror of growing up. It dives deep into the stories we inherit and challenges us to ask: Who gets to decide who we become? Heartfelt, funny, and achingly relatable. Seven Venue. £12 – £14Live music on Saturday 22nd March, 4- 6pm, from Spring Sessions – Three Troubadours : Songwriters Circle. Three acclaimed singer-songwriters, Nick Hall, Jinder and Sabrina Piggott share their songs with a folk and country-influenced set. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel.And again, in the evening of Saturday 22nd March, 8pm in A Tribute to the Greats of 60s and 70s Soul, a wild cocktail of brass, harmonies, rhythm and the best soul singer for miles around from The Soul Shebang.
