NICOLA TALLIS
11th October 2024, 7:30pm
Join us on Friday 11th October for a special evening
event as Nicola Tallis celebrates her
latest book, ‘Young Elizabeth’ with us at Alnwick Castle!
Queenship was by no means a certain path for Henry VIII’s younger
daughter - by the time she claimed the throne, she had already
endured more tumult than many monarchs experienced in a lifetime.
This colourful and detailed biography charts Elizabeth’s turbulent
upbringing, exploring the dangers and tragedies that plagued her
early life, drawing on primary sources written by Elizabeth herself
to shed new light on this iconic queen.
Following the talk, Nicola will be answering audience questions and
signing copies of ‘Young Elizabeth’.
