Reading
royal-themed stories, castle building and crown making are among the
activities being hosted by Bradford Council's Libraries Service to
celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
Children and their families can join in the festivities at their local
library, which will also include singing rhymes and creating flags to
wave on the day.
Some libraries may also be showing the Coronation of King Charles III
on their screens, due to a special dispensation to waive the TV
licence. People should contact their local library to check details.
A special Coronation Play Box will be launched at Manningham Library
for younger children. The box, sponsored by Libraries Connected, a
national Libraries organisation, will contain six activities for nought
to five-year-olds to encourage library membership and foster regular
library use.
