Vaisakhi, Eurovision & more     WHAT'S ON   Vaisakhi Saturday 15 April   The annual Vaisakhi parade, one of the most important festivals in the Sikh calendar, takes place this Saturday 15 April. The procession will leave the Sikh temple at 10.30am and pass through Chapeltown on floats before arriving at Millennium Square at 1.30pm, where there will be music, food and martial arts displays until 3.30pm. More info »   NEWS   Live Screening: Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort   The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort takes place on Saturday 6 May at Westminster Abbey in London. A live coverage of the procession and ceremony will be shown on the Leeds Big Screen in Millennium Square. Some limited seating options will be provided for those wishing to attend on a first come first served basis. Discount Comedy @ Seven This weekend, 14th - 16th April, our Pop-up is Niko’s Comfort Kitchen, The menue takes influences from all over the world, with locally sourced ingredients to cook up some good old comfort food for the ever-evolving menu. On Sunday 16th April 1.30-4pm, JazzLeeds – Conservatoire Collection Part 1 Over two weeks, six bands from the final year of the Jazz Course at Leeds Conservatoire 2023 have a chance to play their final recital pieces in front of the JazzLeeds audience. Guest poet Leon The Pig Farmer Leon The Pig Farmer is the guest poet  Manchester dwelling Yorkshireman Beat Poet with a little more than a lot to say. An ex-serviceman who began writing verse to help him deal with a PTSD diagnosis. Leon has an assertive take on spoken word with fast firing rhythmic verse and a sharp outlook on both his mental health recovery and other social topics and observations that catch his eye. Sully Lad Preview.  We'll also be hosting the first ever public preview of the short film 'Sully Lad'. Filmed locally during lock down.
