Dear,
I love a good routine. There’s something deeply human about
repetition. Boring for some, maybe. Deeply rooting for me. But it changes,
of course, whether in town or country. My Easter break routine in the
country was 10 minutes of meditation, 20 minutes of online yoga and then a
breath-gulping minute in my new Lumi
water pod for some immune-boosting ice bath therapy.
Outside. In the garden. Starkers. Not possible in town, I revert to
harassing my children to get ready for school plus the odd cold shower.
It’s all in the balance.
Have a great week.

QUICHE
CONUNDRUM
A quiche!
Is that what makes the royal recipe list for the coronation? A quiche! I
can’t think of a more insipid, beige-type dish with which to accompany your
cold champagne on May 6. Cold egg and soggy pastry. Not for me, thank you.
If we’re going beige, I’m going fish and chips.
