There's
less than two weeks to apply to
audition to be part of the Opera North
Youth Company! Aimed at young people
aged 8–19 and meeting weekly during
school term time, the Youth Company is
a great way to receive specialised
vocal and drama training and meet new
people, in a friendly, creative and
inspiring environment. Plus, our
company regularly perform alongside the
Orchestra and Chorus of Opera North and
get the chance to audition for roles in
our mainstage productions, so getting
involved may mean a chance in the
spotlight as well!
Auditions
will take place at the Howard Opera
Centre (Leeds), on the following dates:
- Children's Chorus
(8–11): Wed 19 and 26 Apr,
5-6.30pm
- Young Voices (12–15): Wed 3, 10 May and
Thu 13 Jul, 6-9pm
- Youth Chorus (16–19): Wed 3, 10 May and
Thu 13 Jul, 6-9pm
But
hurry – the
deadline to register your interest is Fri
14 Apr!
