Dear everyone -
Children's publishing truly thrives on relationships and connections,
and so we're delighted that this year's Children's Conference is back
in person! After two years of conferencing virtually, we'll be
returning to County Hall, Waterloo on 26th September, alongside a
full livestream if you'd prefer to join us online. We're so looking
forward to being back in the room to collaborate and learn
together again.
This year more than ever calls for in-depth discussion, for a space
to open up questions and assess the answers, for lenses that are both
practical and thoughtful - the kind of deep dives that are
increasingly difficult to find in the world of social media. And so
our conference centres on Conversations: whether that's the
creative conversations within author and illustrator collaborations,
the conversations necessary to reach across a divide or simply the
conversations we are and should be having with our readers. We'll be
curating a day of talks, panels and surgeries all programmed to this
