The Bradford district celebrates the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Bradford Libraries Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Newsletter

In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. Bradford Libraries are getting involved in celebrating Her Majesty's historic reign in the run up to and during the Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend which takes place from 2nd to 5th June.

We'll be meeting author Peter Bently (winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize) and illustrator Claire Powell to discuss their hilarious and wonderfully illustrated books The King's Birthday Suit and The Royal Leap-Frog. If you're looking for an entertaining break - full of stories, drawing and fun - then join us for this free broadcast. We'll be live so you can send in questions for Peter and Claire.
