A to Z of Health and Fitness - Omega-3

Omega3
Omega-3 is a hot topic, and you've probably heard that eating foods rich in omega-3 can keep you healthy - but what are these foods and why are they good for us? Some benefits include a lower risk of heart disease, maintaining good memory, it supports developing babies during pregnancy and helps obtaining vitamins A, D and protein.

You can find omega-3 in different types of oily fish, such as mackerel, tuna or salmon - but for those of us that aren't that keen on fish, you can find it in nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, soya products and green veg.
