Make it Happen: Get to know Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants Arts Council Relationship Manager Emma Forster will be here to talk you through the new Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants, in place of Grants for the Arts. This session is open to any artist, whether you’re currently working on a Project Grants application, or are thinking about applying for a future project. 16 May 6-8pm FREE Furnace Social Club Night - Drag Queen Bingo at Live Art Bistro! Ah! Britain's Favourite pastime. Swirling your balls around a cage, plucking them out for the world to see, and voila! Bingo! What more could you ask for? Drag Queens Dorothy... Drag Queens... An evening of fun, frolics and frottage brought to you by West Yorkshire Playhouse and Live Art Bistro.  24 May 7-11pm FREE COMMON GROUND: Career Progression as a Working-Class Artist in Leeds COMMON GROUND is a supportive, group discussion for artists who self-identify as working-class based in Leeds and the surrounding areas. It will offer a platform for working-class artists to discuss the barriers they face when building careers in UK theatre. 7 June 7-9.30pm FREE Airplays   Last call for writers!  Do you have a story about migration? We're looking for writers of all backgrounds and all levels of experience to send us ideas for original 15 minute-long fictional radio plays. Deadline 10 May Rift Disruptive drama from new voices Rift is a new-writing festival from PCI at Leeds University in association with West Yorkshire Playhouse.
