Rip It Up hits the museum on 22 June
There's less than a month to go until you can discover the story of
Scottish pop music from the 1950s to the present day at our summer
exhibition, Rip It Up: The Story of Scottish Pop.
Featuring
original stage outfits and instruments, many loaned by the artists
themselves, plus memorabilia, film and, of course, music, the exhibition
explores the musical culture of the nation over more than half a century.
An
exciting programme of associated events also kicks off this
month, including walking tours and a series of gigs at Summerhall.
Exhibition
sponsored by Baillie Gifford Investment Managers.
