Dear
Reader,
|
We dedicated our final print
issue of the year to
gratitude. It can often be hard to remember to feel grateful, but
it’s a powerful sentiment and can help us bat away some of the
anxieties that gnaw away at us – especially those we have
absolutely no control over. In fact, we’ve gone so far as to
launch the Future Icons Power
People – a list
of 50 names who are helping to make our world a cooler, fairer,
more equitable place, because sometimes we need to elevate ‘the
good’ over the ‘what sells’ or what makes us angry and upset. We
are grateful to these people because they show us that it is
within our power to change the narrative about how we interact
with our planet – with a light footprint and a gratitude for
how it supports us. There is work to be done – these are just 50
people who are doing it brilliantly.

Meet
The Man Who Runs Mustique

It’s a job someone’s gotta do, but what is it
really like to caretake this fabled speck of an island that is home
to A-listers and titans of industry – and where Margot Robbie might
just swing by to join a Barbie-themed party? Find out here.

Playing
Trump’s Wife
|
I don’t need to tell you the US is having an
election this week. A take on the theme is our interview with Maria
Bakalova, who plays a
young Ivana Trump in The Apprentice, the controversial film
that Donald Trump tried to ban. Fascinating.

Treatments To Have At Home
|
It’s now officially winter – so you might want
to think about bringing your wellness regime into your house (saves
you leaving the sofa). With this in mind, Caroline Phillips rounds up
the wellness gurus who will come and massage, move, smooth and
detoxify you in the comfort of your own home. You’re welcome.
