THIS MONTH'S
SPOTLIGHT
The Creative Industries Sector Vision is
here
The Creative
Industries Sector Vision sets out a shared ambition for the UK
Government and industry to grow the Creative Industries by £50
billion and create one million extra jobs by 2030; and
confirms the Government’s commitment to the Creative Industries as a
high-growth priority sector.
We are committed to working collaboratively with the UK
Government and the Creative Industries Council to make the Sector
Vision a sector reality. The Creative
Industries Council are gearing up for next steps and here at
Creative UK, we will be commenting further in the coming weeks as we
process the strategy. If you have any thoughts or comments on the Sector
Vision, please share your insights at policy@wearecreative.uk.

Pride Month Spotlight: Kimmy Beatbox
Celebrating Pride
and the LGBTQIA+ community is an all-year-round thing, but seeing as
its Pride Month, we’ve curated a special spotlight series where we chat
with the visionary creatives in our far-reaching communities, to learn
more about what they do, why they do it, and what value Pride holds for
them.
First up, we had
the pleasure of chatting with KIMMY BEATBOX, who you may recognise as
the dazzling host of the Creative
Coalition Festival
earlier this year. Keep an eye on our social channels for more Pride
spotlights in the coming weeks!

Joel Cymberg on planning your exit
strategy
Joel Cymberg is an
expert in mergers and acquisitions who started out running adtech
businesses over 20 years ago. Having founded, led and exited several of
his own tech companies, these days Joel spends his time supporting
exit-seeking founders in his role as Senior Vice President for Corum
Mergers & Acquisitions.
Our investment
team caught up with Joel to find out when businesses should
start thinking about their exit strategy, what the key trends in
M&A are right now and if he’s worried about AI taking our jobs.
