After 7
great years of running the quarterly themed flash competition, the day has
come when it's almost over!
The
deadline to submit stories for this final contest - which has an open
theme in celebration of it being the end - is just over 48 hours away! It
closes at 23.59 GMT on 30th December.
As a
thank you to everyone who has taken part over the years and made
it such a success, as well as the usual cash prizes for the
winner and two runners-up we are giving everyone who makes the final
shortlist a prize too!
If your
story is shortlisted but doesn't win a cash prize you'll get a free
ticket to one of our Saturday morning Zoom workshops in 2023. We already have
several scheduled but you can save your prize until later in the year
if you don't fancy any of them.
And
the opportunities to get published with us in 2023 are even greater
with our brand new journal, WestWord, opening for submissions on 1st
January. Send us your short stories, flash and micro fictions on the theme
of VISION by 31st January to appear in the April edition. Get all submission info here.
