Festive
Season @ Seven
Tonight 21st December, 6- 7.15 pm Rush Hour Jazz – Dudley
Nesbitt and Richard Ormrod. Dudley needs no introduction -
he is a feted Leeds pan player and he’s heard here with Richard Ormrod
on drums together with the JazzLeeds Trio. In Seven Bar. PWYF Organised by JazzLeeds.
Also, in the run-up to Christmas, tomorrow Thursday 22nd Decemeber 6pm, Choir of Loretta
returns to Seven for another Christmas knees-up and singalong, featuring
songs to uplift and entertain. Come join the party! In Seven Bar. PWYF Organised by
Mewl Music.
If the time between Christmas and New Year is wearing a bit thin, we've
something for everyone. On Wednesday
28th December, 8pm, Silky and Friends returns
to lighten the mood and break the dark winter blues. It's selling fast
so book soon. £12
/£10.
On Thursday 29th December
11.30am, a special Christmas Holiday Harp
Concert, of Disney classics, family film themes, festive
favourites and nursery rhymes too for the little ones, all performed as
beautiful, chilled out arrangements on a 29 string harp. 30 minute performance; £5 per
child.
Also on Thursday 29th
December 7.30pm, look forward to Gone Country, a
five-piece band with beautiful harmonies, playing covers of Fleetwood
Mac, Secret Sisters, Emily Lou and Brad Paisley to name but a few. 7pm doors. £10.
Seven favourites, Tim & Simon,
return on Friday 30th
December 7.30 pm. Tim & Simon are two affable
middle-aged music-lovers who have nothing better to do than devise
inoffensive arrangements of their favourite classic songs for piano,
guitar and two passable voices.

Seven is closed on Christmas
Day, Boxing Day and Tuesday
27th December. We are open Wednesday 28th - Saturday 31st December,
with normal opening hours on New
Year's Eve. We are then taking a break until Sunday 8th January.
We re-open with a bang on Sunday
8th January 1.30-4pm with JazzLeeds – Jazz Cafe and
Jam Session. Come and join in or just watch the fun. All
levels and styles welcome; it’s about the vibe. The Seven Quiz also
returns on Sunday 8th
January 7pm.
If you're peckish feel free to order a pizza from Canteen Pizzas and
it will be zipped across the road. Pizzas are available Wed – Fri from 4pm and
from lunchtime Sat/Sun.
