Songs
of Travel
Award-winning soprano Katherine Broderick
joins renowned pianist Kathryn Stott and BSL interpreter
Paul Whittaker for an evening of music inspired by Vaughan
Williams’ Songs of Travel and celebrating the 150th

Scottish heritage and traditional folk tunes.

and world premiere by British composer Cheryl Frances-Hoad

Kaleidoscope
Chamber Collective
Three of Kaleidoscope’s instrumentalists are
joined by rapidly rising star mezzo soprano Fleur Barron in
a vibrant, Asia-inspired programme combining instrumental
and vocal chamber music.
The influence of folk music is felt strongly
throughout the programme - enchanting songs by East Asian
composers sit alongside works by Europeans who drew
inspiration from the Asian continent. To end the evening,
brand new folksong arrangements by Kaleidoscope’s founder
Tom Poster join Britten’s much-loved settings.
