The War of the
Vegetables - play script
If you want to introduce your young children to theatre, this is
a lovely play to use. It tells the story of two sets of
vegetables who are accidentally planted in the same bed, and
who seem destined to fight until faced with a common enemy
that they have to work together to overcome. The narration
is in rhyming verse, making it wasy to remember, the characters
are fun and dialogue is differentiated for reading ability
levels. The play also allows for children to take part in a
non-speaking capacity. Cast size is 16-22, running time is
