After the brilliant sold-out Haggis Horns gig last week we're keeping up the momentum with more top musical offerings.

This week's musical highlights include Submotion Orchestra's frontwoman Ruby Wood performing an intimate Duo performance, The critically acclaimed The Jazz Defenders are back with their classic Blue Note sound, a domino debut from Manchester funksters Mr Green and the return of The Domino Funk and Soul Band featuring Leeds legend the Reverend Chunky.

Ruby is front woman of the critically acclaimed Submotion Orchestra, Martin Chung is one of the North’s finest guitarists who plays with Jah Wobble and Dana Ali. Tonight they'll be playing a selection of jazz/bossa nova, modern rnb and soul classics.

The Jazz Defenders 

Led by one of the UK's most formidable Jazz pianists, George Cooper, The Jazz Defenders are a group born from a deep love of Blue Note Jazz, drawing on a wealth of inspiration to craft their own raw and vibrant compositions.

Harry Orme   

Vocalist and guitarist Harry Orme has been entertaining audiences across the UK and Europe for more than a decade. Tonight he'll be bringing a slice of Americana with the Rhythm-n-Blues classics of Ray Charles & Bill Withers alongside folk favorites by Bob Dylan & James Taylor.

The Chris Lloyd Trio  

The Chris Lloyd Trio will tonight be playing 2 sets of blistering Rhythm and Blues.

Brothers on the Slide

From the classic era of Blue Note Records to modern times. Mr. Green bring funky beats, hectic solos and cool melodies from artists like The Meters, George Benson, Grant Green, Cory Wong, The New Mastersounds and The IsleyBrothers.

The Domino Funk & Soul Band    

On the late set tonight we're thrilled to have the funkiest house band in the country featuring band members from some of Britains finest Funk and Soul Acts.
