Feast For The Senses @ Seven
We've something for everyone at Seven in the run up to Christmas.
Tomorrow, Wednesday
23rd November, 7- 9pm, Sach presents ‘Shakthi’
from Jyotsna Srikanth Project , a post-lockdown project in
which the songs of Shakthi have a blend of ragas presented in a
contemporary way, together with electronics and improvisations in
Indian style. £8 / £7

Thursday 24th
November, 7.30pm Mewl Music – Beware of the
Bull: The Enigmatic Genius of Jake Thackray. We can't promise
tickets for this show as it's SOLD OUT online but there will be a few
to be available on the door. £10
Also selling well, The Rob Dylan Band –
Rolling Thunder Revue on Friday
25th November, 8pm performing the music of Bob Dylan and
The Band in a Rolling Thunder style. This band has been entertaining
audiences for many years with songs from one of the world’s greatest
songwriters. “The band
were great, really making the songs their own and not simply trying to
copy Dylan”. BBC Radio 6 Music. £12.
On Saturday 26th
November, 7:30pm, AbidA – A Feast for the
Senses ‘AbidA’ is an exuberant festival of the senses where
art forms and genres coalesce. Based on a traditional north African
ritual, the performance consists of seven scenes which present evocations
of each of seven colours through dance, sound, text, imagery and
fragrance. £10
A staged reading of a brand new musical directed by Anita Adams, 68 The Musical,
is on Sunday 27th
November 7pm. 68 the Musical is an entertaining feel-good
show, full of laughs, tears and great original songs in a sixties
style, guaranteed to blow your mind! Extraordinary. £12
Also on Sunday 27th
November 7pm, the Seven Quiz is a
great way to round off the weekend by competing in a friendly
atmosphere with friends and family in Seven Bar. £5. Prizes.
If you're peckish feel free to order a pizza from Canteen Pizzas and
it will be zipped across the road. Pizzas are available Wed – Fri from 4pm and
from lunchtime Sat/Sun.
