Child Friendly Leeds
Live
Wednesday 3rd
August
Join us for the
biggest children’s festival in Yorkshire featuring popular
children’s characters, performers, music and entertainment on
National Play Day 3rd August.
Hosted by Faye Kenny
from Boom-chikka-boom and featuring characters such as Peter
Rabbit, Encanto and Frozen as well as special guest and C Beebies
favourite Mr Bloom!
There will also be
performances from dance, music, character favourites, family Rave
Mayhem with Boomchikkaboom, plus fun, games, walkabout
entertainment and audience participation throughout.
Families can also
enjoy glitter tattoo artists, climbing wall, sport activities,
arts and crafts, circus skills, sensory play and much more!
CFL Live is made up
of two events on Wednesday 3 August and is for children aged 12
and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The
first session will run from 11am to 1pm, and the second will run
from 3pm to 5pm.

Mercury nominated,
British producer duo, Jungle, will be bringing their creative
talent to Leeds for a special outdoor concert as part of their
Summer 2022 UK tour.
2021 heralded a new
era for Jungle – the duo spent the past year locked in a studio
and have emerged, delivering a brand-new album ‘Loving In
Stereo’, for the first time featuring other vocalists including
Tamil-Swiss Priya Ragu and US rapper Bas.
In their career to
date, Jungle have gone from selling-out London’s 10,000 capacity
Alexandra Palace to filling the Hollywood Palladium some 9,000
kilometres from home. They’ve performed multiple continents,
headlining shows from Sydney to Moscow, while also winning new
fans at festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.

Salute To Reggae
Friday 5th August
Salute to Reggae,
organised by BHI and supported by Leeds City Council is a vibrant
annual live music concert showcasing the varying genres of
Reggae, from Dancehall to Lovers rock and everything in
between, from yesteryear to tomorrow!
Set in a specially
created outdoor arena on Millennium Square as part of the annual
Summer Series live music programme, the concert celebrates the
very best of UK Reggae in a safe and friendly environment. On
site facilities include a fully licensed bar, merchandise and
authentic Caribbean Food.

Saturday 6th August
Popworld are
launching the first ever Popworld Festival, bringing together
some of the greatest pop acts of the 90s and 00s on the big
stage.
Everything you love
about Popworld plus some HUGE names, including 5ive, S Club,
Fatman Scoop, Paul Chuckle & the man responsible for the
ultimate pop record, Mysterious Girl – Peter Andre will be
headlining. You won’t want to miss what is guaranteed to a dream
come true for all pop music fans!
