After a two year break the Brighouse Arts Festival is back....starting on Friday!
We need your bookings to keep going!
We also need some volunteers to help on the doors of all events
Ring John 01484 711835 or Steven 01484 722462 if you can spare us a bit of your time.

Bookings are now being taken for all events at Harrison Lord Gallery and Ryecorn Wholefoods in Brighouse. No booking fee but cash only please.
Alternatively, you can book online:

One of Britain's leading violinists Sophie Rosa performs on Sunday 17th October at St John's Church Rastrick at 7.30pm

 

Violinist Sophie Rosa is performing a wonderful programme at St John's Church on Sunday 17th October
Featured on BBC Radio 3, Sophie is one of Britain’s most talented classical soloists.

 

The Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band perform at St Martin's Church Saturday 9th October, 7.30pm

 

The Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band will be giving a “Last Night of the Proms” concert. Bring your union Jack!

 

“Unplugged – acoustic music” night at Miller’s Bar on Wednesday 13th October (7.30pm). Artists include local festival favourites Amy Claire - local singer-songwriter/guitarist, Cadence - local folk band, Ruth Nielsen - local piano-vocalist and The Rainey Street Band.

 

 

After great success in 2019 Barry Smith has organised another
Unplugged – acoustic music” night.

 

"Shout" The musical is on at St John's Church Hall on Saturday 16th October at 1pm and 6.30pm

 

 

Theatre fans should make a point of seeing “Shout” the musical
Featuring popular songs from the 60’s and 70’s, starring Brighouse’s ever popular Natasha Harper.

 

 

In addition there are art exhibitions around the town and afternoon talks.
These include;
"Self publishing books", a talk by Chris Helme Wednesday 13th, Rastrick Library, 2pm.
"The rebel princess" a talk about Princess Margaret by Pat Osborn Tuesday 12th October, Brighouse Library, 2pm
"The lives of Morcambe and Wise" also by Pat Osborn on Saturday 16th October, Brighouse Library, 2pm.

 

The programme showcases creativity and entertainment and runs from October 8th to the 17th October.
