Join us for our 15th Zoom outing. We have three exciting headliners for you this month, namely Chaucer Cameron, Fay Kesby and Dalton Harrison. Open mic slots available (3 mins). 

Chaucer is the author of In an Ideal World I’d Not Be Murdered (Against The Grain 2021) She has been published in journals, magazines and anthologies, including: Under the Radar, Poetry Salzburg, The North, The Blue Nib, Ink Sweat and Tears, and Interpreter’s House, Chaucer is creator of Wild Whispers an international poetry film project, and regularly curates and presents poetry film at events and festivals. She is co-editor of the online magazine, Poetry Film Live.

F R Kesby is a writer and creator from Leeds. They have a string of publishing credits including Strix, Riggwelter, Picaroon, Laldy and Wanton Fuckery as well as having headlined for events such as Stirred, Word Space, neurodiVERSE and Verse Matters. Their debut pamphlet "Shul" is out now from Maytree Press. When not poeting about town they co-run the arts collective Subjective Silhouettes and make jewellery for Queer Bun Crafts. They would describe themselves as a queer disability activist who wants to make the world better. Others describe them as "a difficult bitch with a big mouth". We'll let you decide which is true. (Spoiler alert; it's both.)

Dalton Harrison is a trans poet, writer and performer. Ex-offender and activist. Performs with Standfast, a collective that uses poetry and performance to highlight issues within the criminal justice system. He has written articles for inside time and pink news on being a trans male in a female prison and a piece for sister magazine on suffering bereavement inside. His poetry has been included in the anthologies Transverse 2, No time for silence and Bloody amazing. He is starting a Criminal Justice and Criminology BA at the University of Leeds in September. His poems explore themes of mental health, poverty, prison and trans issues within the system.
