Wandsworth Arts Fringe

25 June – 11 July

Every year, Wandsworth Arts Fringe (WAF) shakes up South West London with an eclectic programme of arts and culture that thrills, moves and inspires audiences from across the city. This year, WAF is back with a mix of online and in-person events, so you can get creative wherever you are. There’s so much to explore, including calligraphy workshops, a Polish Folk Song Group, and don’t miss World Heart Beat Music Academy’s Congrego! Festival which celebrates Latin American music and dance.

Bournemouth’s largest independent arts festival is back

26 June – 4 July

Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe (BEAF) returns to the seaside town this summer. Expect a cracking programme of more than 150 events happening across the festival week, from independent film screenings, to live performances and exhibitions alongside a full programme of workshops, talks and family friendly events. The theme for this year’s festival is 2B Human, inspired by the work of the renowned South African artist William Kentridge, whose short, animated film Other Faces will be exhibited during the festival.

NEW DATES ADDED: An Evening with Fran Lebowitz

26 June - 8 July 2022

For a limited run of dates, the cultural satirist will be live in conversation, sharing her invariably cutting take on anything and everything.

These events promise to be a balm in a wildly shifting world, offering spot-on observations about contemporary living and the opportunity to ask your own controversial questions.
