This week we have an action-packed program of events to entertain the whole family. From Birds of Prey to tomfoolery with Peterkin the Jester and a 17th-century battle re-enactment, we have something for everyone!

Birds of Prey
29th May - 4th June
Watch in awe as these spectacular birds of prey swoop, soar and glide seamlessly from rampart to roof, all whilst discovering more about when and why hunting with birds was established in England’s Middle Ages. 

 

Peterkin the Jester
5th - 6th June
Experience fun filled family entertainment, fit for the aristocracy of Northumberland, with our resident jester’s hilarious blend of medieval comedy, magic and occasional mischief!

 

17th Century Re-enactment 
5th - 6th June
Come and meet the soldiers and civilians of the Newcastle Garrison Living History Group and learn more about everyday life in the mid-17th Century.
