After the funds have been allocated, it’s time to take
those stories off the page and bring them to life on the screen.

to premiere at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen

CREATING A TEASER TRAILER

|
Teasers and trailers
are a major part of a project's marketing drive. They are created
to drive interest prior to the release of the film. Rhythm and pace
are used to engage a future audience as we can see in the teaser trailer for Anthony
Florez's 2020 Winner TWO BEARS.

|
|
|
|
Film posters serve a
dual purpose. Firstly, they must inform and secondly they attract
audiences to go and see the film. Short Film posters are often
released via online platforms such as websites and social media.
So, grabbing attention amid lots of competition must be taken into
consideration.

|
|
|
|
Our 10 funded short
films have played at some of the top film festivals in the world,
including the London Film Festival, Austin, Encounters, Aesthetica,
Rhode Island, and many others. Two of our previous winners have
premiered at Tribeca. Film festivals are a vital link in the chain
of global film culture. Speaking multiple languages, film festivals
give the audience the ability to hear a rich diversity of
voices. Claire Fowler's BAFTA Cymru award for our inaugural
short film SALAM is an example of what can be achieved.
