Widescreen Weekend Cinema Events


Tickets are now on sale for Girls On Film (Sunday 13 October), the wildly popular podcast that has sold-out live events at both Edinburgh and Cannes film festivals.
Hosted by film critic and journalist Anna Smith, who discusses classic films and new releases from a female perspective.
She'll be joining us to talk musicals with some special guests!

Producer Donald Rosenfeld was president of Merchant Ivory during their 'Golden Age', the era of Howards End and The Remains of the Day
He will be will joining us in conversation with Mary Dowson followed by the beautifully shot period drama Effie Gray.  

As part of the 10th anniversary of Bradford UNESCO City of Film, writer and director Clio Barnard will join us for a conversation with David Wilson, as she discusses her career, being passionate about filming in Yorkshire, and what’s next.
Followed by a screening of her acclaimed film, set and filmed in Bradford, The Selfish Giant
