Kirklees Newsletter 8 October 2019
|
Good
afternoon everyone and welcome to our newsletter!
You may
know that Kirklees Council and music organisations are looking to develop
a new space for sound and music in Huddersfield – a Sound Space – a place
to enjoy the richness and diversity of music, a space to experiment and
learn – and they would like to know what you think. Artist
Jean McEwan will be exploring ideas for this new Sound Space in the
Growing Cultures space in Queensgate Market throughout October.
You can leave your thoughts, ideas and comments here or you can talk to
Jean in person - she will be in the market on Friday afternoons
throughout October.
Come rain
or shine, we’re sure you will find something in our newsletter and on
our website
to keep you creative and remember there's something for everyone at
Marsden Jazz Festival this weekend – do have a browse through their website for full
details of the events on offer. And not forgetting the International
market which returns to Huddersfield this week bringing together over
40 stalls of continental foods and crafts offering a real taste of Europe
and beyond,
