Please help us nurture young talent in
Newcastle
We are currently crowdfunding
to establish a new weekly
songwriting group in Newcastle for 12-19 year olds. The group
will meet on Saturdays in term-time and will be led by professional
songwriters. It will be open to all and free to attend, allowing young people
to develop their creative talents and mix with likeminded people in a safe and
nurturing environment. There are just 5
days left on our crowdfunding campaign (ends 2
August) and we’re tantalisingly close to meeting the target – please
help us get there if you can! You can do this by sharing our page as well as
by donating.

Farewell to Read Regional 2017!
This year’s Read
Regional campaign was our biggest ever, with more than 2000 people
attending events at libraries, schools and literary festivals. Although the
events have now finished for this campaign, you can still borrow the 10
titles in libraries across the North of England, download our questions for
reading groups, and read about the authors’ experiences on our blog. A huge
thanks to all the authors, libraries and audiences who took part!
