sale for Durham Book Festival!
This year we present our
biggest programme yet, featuring a wide variety of events from Booker
Prize-winners to some famous faces; family workshops to live
performance.
In these uncertain times. a
book festival is a shared place where we can contemplate some of the big
ideas and events that are shaping our world, as well as be inspired by
wonderful literature to lift the spirits. We hope you can come and join the
conversation with us.

Please note that the
rumours are true and we are hosting Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone
screenings at Durham Cathedral (a filming location) during our opening

Do Not Enter the
Monster Zoo: our children’s theatre tour is back!
Now in its fifth year, our
children’s theatre tour will delight under 7s and their families at 34 dates
across the North East, as well as dates in Yorkshire and the North West.
This year we have adapted Do
Not Enter the Monster Zoo, the brilliant picture book written by Amy Sparkes
and illustrated by Sara Ogilvie. From the creators of Hey Presto!, Man on the
Moon and The Worst Princess, this is a mischievous tale with original live
