Illuminate is a project
that works to highlight the creativity of women both as composers
and performers, and to celebrate the rich legacy of music written
by women past and present.
The music will take the
listeners on a journey through the vivid and characterful voices
of Lili Boulanger and Grazyna Bacewicz, and onto the diverse
soundworlds of new British composers, including Illuminate’s
Artistic Director Angela Elizabeth Slater.
