This is not my preferred reading genre but the prospect of a blind date with someone who is rich, not bald and doesn't kick puppies isn't a bad start is it? even if the eventual date is a disaster.
It's Evie whose story we follow. The path of true love doesn't run smoothly for Evie particularly on account of a case of mistaken identity, the confusing presence of twins and a promise made which entails a Christmas deadline. There are twists and turns aplenty and I was drawn in. Yes, it is exciting and it is fun. So Romance genre or not, I read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it.
