65 million years ago, dinosaurs ruled the Earth…
30 years ago, a movie about dinosaurs ruled the box office…
This year, you are invited to HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS!
This “funny, head-spinning Jurassic Park parody” (The Times) is a
must-see “chaotic masterpiece” (Stage to Page) that has won over
London fans and critics alike. HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS showcases
Foley sound and physical theatre and is “imaginative, slick silliness
on an epic scale” (London Theatre 1).
Don’t walk,
RUN to get your tickets for “a show that should never go
extinct.” (All that Dazzles.)

The School Of Night
- 20th Year Celebration
Thursday 24th April at 7.30pm
Twenty years
ago The School of Night made its first appearance, at Shakespeare's
Globe in London. Since then, its unique blend of literary
improvisation has been seen all over the UK (Hay, Latitude and
Edinburgh festivals, National Theatre, British Library) and beyond
(in the US, Malaysia and all over Europe) as well as appearing on
many radio shows, including BBC Radio's The Verb.
The School Of Night has appeared for
Slung Low several times, most recently in 2023 to celebrate the
400th anniversary of The Complete Works' publication - and we are
delighted to welcome them back again, performing their new
work by Shakespeare and others summoned from thin air!
‘Never trust a man who, when
left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn’t try it on.’
Billy Connolly
