Join us for an illustrated
artist's talk with Alison Duddle, the creative mind behind the
props and staging for 'The Man Who Planted Trees'.
Alison, a renowned visual artist and puppet designer, will share
her journey from the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre
in Minneapolis to her work with Horse + Bamboo Theatre in the UK
and now A Bird in the Hand Theatre.
Discover how she blends visual arts with theatre and her approach
to designing for the stage.
It's going to be a chance to see inside Alison's creative
process before our magical production.

Step foot into the magical world of 'The Man Who Planted Trees'
as our live performance takes the stage in July. Combining local
artwork with incredible puppetry and staging, this performance
will transport you to a land where hope and a love for nature set
the scene.

Our Free Art Exhibitions
Each The Man Who Planted Trees exhibition features unique artwork
from public workshops, some of our Engaging Neighbourhoods
partners, and the results of our open call for submissions from
local professional and amateur artists.
We have activity sheets for kids, a selection of beautiful books
to read, and bookmarks to collect at the exhibitions. Please
leave us a comment in our comment book after you've experienced
the exhibition - we'd love to hear your thoughts.
