University of Bradford Shaping Tomorrow Dr Huw S Jones Webinar Drug Discovery and Pharmacokinetics: The Bradford Experience 18 April 2024

Full details of the Meet the Alumni event starting at 11am below:

Dear,

Thank you to those who attended last week's Meet the Alumni Webinar with Rumiko Seya.

We are delighted to now invite you to our upcoming Shaping Tomorrow Webinar with Dr S Huw Jones entitled 'Drug Discovery and Pharmacokinetics: The Bradford Experience', taking place on Thursday 18 April 2024 from 11:00-12:00 BST.

This webinar will explore the role of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics in drug development, using examples from the work of the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics team at the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics. Using these real-world examples, the webinar will explore preclinical drug discovery strategies, clinical trials for new ways of treating cancers, and how we can understand how new ways of treating cancer may work in patients. If you are a drug discovery scientist, or just curious about how anti-cancer drugs work (and why they may not work for everyone or every tumour), this webinar will provide a new perspective on drug development.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to hear the latest updates on world-class research currently taking place at the University of Bradford!

This webinar will be delivered via Microsoft Teams; see below for more details and the registration link. The deadline for signing up is Tuesday 16 April.

Attendees will also be able to ask questions at the end of the webinar.

We look forward to welcoming you to this virtual event.

Best wishes,
Alumni Team
