Times @ Seven
As Easter approaches look forward to the twin themes of music and
murder at Seven. Tomorrow, Friday
29th March, 7.30pm, Hard Times Orchestra –
Banquets, Murder & The Moon features the divine Miss W –
Jacqui Wicks – on vocals, the instrumental cornucopia that is Richard
Ormrod (clarinet, accordion, drums, baritone sax, piano…) and the
rockin’ Jonny Flockton on guitars and banjo. Not to be missed. £12.
On Saturday 30th March
4-6pm, Spring Sessions
continue with Little Mistakes,
this acoustic trio playing country, folk and bluegrass originals and
covers, combining subtle and atmospheric musicianship with the
sophisticated song writing of Adam Wolstenholme and Louise Starks. Seven Bar. PWYF. Organised by
Mewl Music.
On Sunday 31st March,
7pm, test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere at the Sunday Quiz, a
great way to end the weekend with friends. Seven Bar. £5 per team entry with prizes.
The Easter weekend marks the return of sring /summer streetfood at
Seven, this weekend, Pop-up – Blake’s Bites,
serves small bites and all day breakfast burger, plus a main menu of
European flavours. Friday
29th March from 5pm, Saturday 30th March from 12 noon and Sunday 31st
March from 12 noon.
One of our favourite Leeds musicians and award winning pan player Dudley Nesbitt plays Rush
Hour Jazz, Wednesday
3rd April 6 - 7.15pm. Grab a drink and settle down to
Nesbitt’s stunning playing, joined by the Jazz Leeds trio backing his
Caribbean repertoire. Seven
Bar. PAYF donations.Organised by JazzLeeds.
Also on Wednesday 3rd
April, 7.30pm, Murder Inc. is
the only murder mystery that you are an accessory to! This month ‘Screw
Dunnit’, a murder mystery set at a B&Q! It’s your job to make your
best guess of ‘whodunnit’ before the show is over and one winning
detective team will take home a prize. £10.
