Woman @ Seven
The Seven week kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday
6th March, 6-7.15pm with Rush Hour Jazz – Andy
Henderson. Some traditional jazz sounds from trumpeter and
vocalist Andy Henderson, Jim Wright on banjo and vocals, Steve Crocker
bass and vocals and Paul Smith on drums and washboard. Seven Bar. Pay What You feel.
The same evening, Wednesday
6th March, 7.30pm, Murder Inc., the
improvised comedy murder mystery that is made to order, this month,
featuring KerMitting Murder. Grab your detective team and come solve a
murder set in the Muppet Show. £10.
On Friday 8th March,
7.30pm, hailing from the East Anglian and Welsh wildlands,
power-folk four-piece Wise Woman bring
a heady collision of lush vocal harmonies, cinematic cello and 90s girl
power to their UK Tour. Not to be missed. Doors 7pm. £15/£12 conc.
In association with Irish Arts & Irish History Month, Spring Sessions presents
Hebble on Saturday
9th March, 4-6pm. This band performs an eclectic world folk
band with an unusual set of instruments that play lively, international
traditional music in multiple languages. Tunes to make the heart sing. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel.
Organised by MEWL Music
And on Sunday 10th
March, 7pm, the Sunday Quiz.
Test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a great way to end the
weekend with friends. £5
per team entry with prizes.
